After Nevaeh got her meal, she settled herself down at an unoccupied area of the table, taking small bites of her food. Having had read the memo that Maloran posted on the wall, she studied her two roommates. The half-elf who annoyed her at first and the teifling-aasimar girl. She no longer felt annoyed by the half elf(.....Bella was it?) but rather decided not to judge people. It was nice, how all of them got along so well despite racial prejudices. Somewhat tempted to join in on their conversation, Nevaeh decided against it. She didn't belong and was just fine with it. She was a loner, and probably always would be. She didn't need anyone to depend on or to get attached to. She learned her lesson long ago. She was content with just keeping to herself, and savored the peaceful moment.

Ros excused himself from the table, bringing his and Merei's dishes to the disposal recepticle. He passed the table where an elf mage was sitting, "There is still seats open at that table." He said quietly.
He continued on to the food bar, grabbing some stalks of celery and some carrots, tossing some to Merei who deftly caught them out of the air. As he passed the drink area, he found himself wishing for some old-style Orden Wine. His adoptive father had produced it from the lichens, fungi, and turnips found native to their area of the Underdark, distilling and fermenting the wine could take up to ten years a cask, or almost two years a bottle, and was very expensive.
As if by command, a small, black, and opaque bottle appeared inside an ice bucket nearby. He picked up the bottle, turning it over in his hands. It was indeed Orden old-style wine. It even had his fathers seal on it. Smiling softly to himself, he took some small cups, about as tall as his thumb, and went back to the table. He waved the bottle at Merei, who broke out into a wide, immature grin.
Setting the cups down on the table, Ros quickly poured some wine into the cups, and passed them out to the people at the table, still smiling.
"Be careful drinking this, it can get even the Drow drunk within a few glasses. But you'll never taste any drink finer! Our father used to make this, and he grew very wealthy off of it."

Nevaeh was shocked. The Drow called Ros suggested, even invited her to sit by them. And here she thought he was going to eat her face or something! She got up and emptied her dish, getting a new bowl of stew. Cautiously, she sat herself down next to the kind-hearted looking Drow called Merei. She glanced around at them nervously quickly before returning her gaze to the stew. Boy, did she feel out of place. Her awkwardness, she felt, was giving signs of weakness and vulnerability, and she almost hated that more than lightning and lightning storms (and thats saying alot). She felt she needed to say something to cover up. Swallowing hard, she looked up and quietly in a voice just above a whisper, "Hello...".

Ros slid a cup of wine to her, smiling. "We are Merei," He pointed at Merei. "Rosencreutz," He pointed at himself. "and Fayth. Who do we have the honor of addressing?" He had already reconciled himself to interacting with other races, he now just sought to know these members of their races better.

Nevaeh looked up at them and swiftly back down. "...Nevaeh. Nice to meet you three." There it was again. There was something about those two drow. She felt a...... strange connection, yet nowhere has she ever seen them before. She was acting strange too. Almost, ashamed even. 'What's wrong with you, Nevaeh?' she wondered.

Yawning, she discarded her attempt to stomach the stew. It was good yeah.. but she wanted fruit... Even a small bowl of grapes would make her feel better. Standing slowly she grabbed her tray and ungracefully dumped it in the trash can. Allowing a unhappy growl to slip past her lips, she looked at the food line. She blinked... that wasn't there a second ago... Slowly she approached the food area, and raised her hand to grasp a small bowl of grapes...
"Waiiiiit... isn't that what you just said you wanted??" asked the lovely voice within her head. "Yes, it is....." I replied to her in my soft tone. "Oooooo! Ask for a bomb of some kind so we can blow up this place?!" she snickered evily. "Chaos......" I replied in a warning littered tone...
"Well now... Uhm. I wish I had a big fruit salad?" she muttered in a low voice. She blinked and there it was. Freakkkkky... Grasping the bowl of lushious fruit, she gracefully walked back to the table. She had a small grin on her face, and a small hop in her step.

Ros was grinning now, the wine had loosened his voice, although he was drunk. He found himself making jokes and laughing. As he was talking animatedly to Merei, he saw Fayth returning from the food bar, with grapes and a fruit salad, seeming to be upset. "Did the grapes do something rude? Perhaps the salad then?" He joked. "You can always get some new ones, that are much more polite, you know!" He laughed a little to himself.

Stealing glances every now and then, Nevaeh slowly dipped her bread into the luscious stew. 'Just like Tarith used to make it...' she thought, reminiscing on the nights that Tarith would make stew for Asphodell and herself. That was years ago though... and she didn't want to remember anything else. She looked up again, and the one called Fayth was returning to the table with a smile. Her presence was a strong one. It was like some sort of strange aura surrounded her. Nevaeh was starting to get overwhelmed. 'It's probably this place all together. And I'm tired. Yeah, tired... Thats it... I think I should retire for the night soon...'

<A slight rumbling began in the dining hall. At first it was insignificant. But it began to grow rapidly. Until the entire room was shaking and the sound of it was so loud you could barely hear yourself yelling.
It came to an abrupt stop after several seconds. Floating in the center of the room several feet in the air was a ethereal image of Maloran. It seemed to be looking around and mumbling to itself. It appeared to not know exactly where it was. After several more moments it spoke.
"ALL ABLE BODIED ADVENTURERS! REPORT TO THE COURTYARD IMMIDIATLY!"
As soon as it had delivered its message it vanished.>

Watching everything take place, she grinned a bit more, and nibble at her salad. Upon hearing Ros's comment, she sputtered and laughed, causing her to partially choke on a piece of fruit. "Oh yes, because grapes are soooooo mean." she replied with a soft giggle as she coughed up her fruit. She'd temporarly blocked Chaos from her mind after she was plotting how to get the foodline to cough up bazookas... whatever that was. She'd also decided to sip on the wine.
Now she'd had a couple god wines in her day, but this was insanely good! She knew her limits so she had only sipped, but she'd have to admit, things were a bit funner this way.

Ros quickly gulped down some bread, kissed his sister on the cheek, and ran outside, checking his weapons as he ran. He had everything on him, since he had not taken any of it off before going to dinner. His fingers flashed I'll be back soon, enjoy yourself! to Merei and he was out the door.
