Fayth growled. This was so awkward.. Not only did she have Chaos telling her off, she now had this stupid voice telling her that she could give her power... Wait.. Oh crap. Quickly she attempted to place a block in her mind, hopefully keeping the all to tempting voice from getting to Chaos... That's all she needed... "Chaos... Don't listen to it... it's not true. None of it!"[/color] she warned Chaos as she trudged along. Cautiously she kept her hand to the wall. "Drow. You see anything?" she hissed. This was not the best place to be in her book. Not only could she not see.. she was being talked at by some crazy voice. Not to mention she had a power-hungry blond dwelling in her brain. Her other hand was clasped upon her assorted weapons.
"Awwwww Fayyyyth come on... It's offering power.. Follow the voice! da.mn it! Fine, but when you get hurt because your two weeeeak, I'll MAKE you take the power!"[/i]

The voice offering power in Nevaeh's head sent chills down her spine. She didn't trust the voice, plus, Ros had a point. It was probably a shaman, and Nevaeh didn't like Shaman's of the enemy side... Her eyes still closed, she tightened her grip on her staff. Was Maloran trying to kill her? No matter, she continued forth, behind Ros and in front of Fayth.

<The path deposits you in a large chamber with a lake at its center. A strange light emits from it penetrating the darkness. The voice persists with even more earnest. It almost seems to be a whisper in the air more than your mind now. At the far end of the lake you can make out the figures of three creatures. Two of which are clearly Kobolds. The other you do not recognize at this distance. Crossing the lake by swimming would take some time and would not be the most stealthy way to approach the figures on the other end. As far as you can tell the lake stretches from wall to wall... although... the chamber is large enough that you cannot see wall to wall. There may be another way across.>

He turned around and whispered softly, "Fayth, you should come with me to the right. Nevaeh and Belladona should go to the left. I want a rogue with each group so we can try and take the element of surprise. Go for the fellow in the middle, the other kobolds are clearly guarding him. If you cannot find a way across, come around to our side. We will do the same. I would prefer to have some rangers, and just shoot them down, but we will have to make do."
He [melted into the shadows]* his scimitar and a long dagger drawn, but hidden under his cloak to hide the glint. He swiftly and silently glided down his chosen side of the lake, eyes ever alert.
*OOC: I am not entirly sure how to RP using skills, so I improvised.

Fayth callously looked up to Ros, her eyes blazing a bit as the water reflected in them. Releasing an almost inaudiable growl, she walked up a bit to Ros. "You idiot. You want us to split up and surprize people that already know where here? They've been speaking to us in OUR BRAINS!" she hissed quietly, she voice annoyed and noticibly with held. Thinking quickly, she looked to the other two, "I say Ros takes Nevaeh. She's, I'm sorry to say, weaker then me, and Bella can't see AT ALL, so that's stupid. I'll go with Bella. Try not to be stupid." she finished, all held still in whispers. Slowly she crept over to Bella, her hand clasping onto her arm. "Let's go."
"Oooooh the power is soooo lovely around here! I say we just go up and say hi!" remarked the melodic voice within her head.

Rosencreutz glowered at Fayth. "Who goes with who, I don't really care about, so do what you want. But do not presume to lecture me as to strategy, I have been doing this for almost a century! They do know we are here, but they do not know where we are now, look at the way the kobolds are looking around, they cannot see us. Do what you want, as long as we go over, kill them, and get out. By the way, Bella sees as well as you do, Nevaeh is the blind one. Do not call me stupid until you have taken your own intelligence into account."
He sheathed his scimitar, and grasped Nevaeh by the shoulder. "Come this way, I will guide you.' He whispered, slowly walking along the shore line.

Bella sighed, but continued her silent obedient stance to the others that she knew to be stronger than her. "Is it a good idea to split up even for a short amount of time?" she asked. but recieving no response she looked to Rosencreutz and he grasped Nevaeh, then Bella nodded at Fayth and carried on, wondering Why can Fayth and Rosencreutz not get along for there is no personal reason for them to argue... or at least none that I know of..
The voice offering her power, was only slightly distracting. Common sense kept her from giving it any real attention, other than acknowledging that it was there.

<I'd like to take this moment to repeat that the lake is glowing and illuminating the entire chamber. The Kobolds have their backs to you but would see your shadowy figures should they turn around. This chamber is NOT consumed by the darkness.>

Nevaeh shot a death glare toward's Fayth. She did NOT just call Nevaeh weaker! It was just because of her partial blindness in this god-forsaken place! Not only was it rude to say such a thing as if she were not standing RIGHT THERE, but it was wrong of her! Fayth had NEVER seen her fight or anything, so she basically had no evidence to back up her little remark. Startled by Ros' comeback though, Nevaeh decided she liked Ros much better than Fayth; at least he wasn't arguing every single thing someone suggested as if they were incompetent fools! She nodded towards him and followed his lead, deciding it would be best if she didn't say anything at all.

Crouched down, as to make his shadow smaller, Rosencreutz gently pulled Nevaeh along behind him. He still held one dagger hidden underneath his cloak. Silently cursing Fayth's bullheadedness earlier. If she had spoken much louder, the kobolds would have known exactly where they were! There was not enough darkness to properly hide them in here, if they had looked, the party would have been seen. Thinking to himself, Ros leaned forward slightly to better see the path ahead of him.

Fayth narrowed her eyes as she noticed Nevaeh shooting her a glare, she grinned for the moment, but reminded herself to appologuise to her later. Under normal circumstances she'd have snapped out at Ros again, his "I'm the leader and I'm smarter" attitude adding a few bars on the "Let's get Fayth Pissed and have her kill us" meter. Growling a bit she sighed, and smiled faintly at Bella she she indicated for her to follow with a flick of her wrist. "Come on. I liked you better anyways." she said to Bella after they were a few feet away. Slowly she crept, following Ros's Idea and sinking lower to the ground a bit as she made her way to her edge of the river; making sure to keep Bella close.

Bella followed Fayth ignoring the arguements going on around her, and trying to keep as silent as possible. She followed close to Fayth and kept an eye open for an ambush. Glares and petty arguements do not interest me she thought and then returned her mind to her steps and balance.

Nevaeh tried to keep up with Ros, but the worry of tripping, falling and making any sort of noise worried her. She just followed his lead as best as she could, placing all of her trust in him and his good eyesight. At least when they got to the fighting she would be able to see better with the help of the light from her magic...

<As you travel along the edge of the lake its still surface is broken by ripples that course along its surface. Something near the bottom was moving.
A low rumble began to fill the chamber. At first it is just noise but quickly escalates to actual shaking of the chamber. The force throws all from their feet and Neveah falls into the glowing lake. As soon as she enters the water she vanishes from sight only to reappear encased in a block of Ice floating at the center of the lake.
The commotion sent the kobolds fleeing from the chamber along wit their mysterious 3rd figure.
Neveah... you cant post for the time being... you are an ice cube =( >
